Consultants Exchange Pty Ltd (CXC) was founded in Australia in 1992, and remains an Australian owned organisation. In 1999 our first international office was opened. The organisation provides accounting and administration services to the global contract market and employers for their employees.
CXC has been built on honesty and integrity, with a commitment to friendly, efficient and prompt service. CXC has offices throughout Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, USA, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Singapore and South Africa, with affiliations in Europe. We work within the laws of the countries in which we operate to provide the most tax efficient methods available to receive remuneration. Our global outlook enables CXC to offer payroll and salary packaging services to clients, candidates and employees, as well as assistance with swift international transfers and visa procurement not available through other management companies.
This management service and structure is compliant with the Alienation of Personal Services Income Bill 2000 (APSI), i.e. the so-called 80/20 rules.
In 2000 CXC became the first affiliated (non-recruitment) member of Information Technology Contract & Recruitment Association (ITCRA). CXC is one of the founding members of the Australian Contract Professions Management Association (ACPMA), who represented the IT contractor issues, along with ITCRA, to the Senate Committee on the APSI Bill in May 2000. In 2004 CXC also became an affiliate member of Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA).
